BARN TALK GATEWAY CONTROLLER 110V
The Gateway is the brain of the BarnTalk platform.
The Gateway can be plugged into a standard 110V outlet and serves as the primary means of monitoring power. For best results, the Gateway should be plugged into the same power source as the ventilation controller. The Gateway is also available with a UL Certified 5V External Power Supply for use in Canada. Each Gateway also comes equipped with two internal Dry Contact Circuits, which are commonly used to connect the Gateway to additional power sources and sub-panels, as well as controllers, generators, auger motors, water pressure switches, and more. Once the Gateway is plugged into power, it finds and connects to the strongest local cell tower, regardless of carrier, to send alarms via push notification, SMS text message, or phone call based on the user’s preferences. In addition to built-in cellular connectivity, the Gateway creates a local wireless LoRa network that extends across buildings and through walls, connecting up to 24 wireless sensors to each Gateway within a range of ~700 ft. On multi-barn sites, we typically recommend one Gateway for every two buildings. The Gateway and sensors can typically be installed in 30 minutes.
